Having senior portraits taken is a tradition for students entering their last year of high school. Capturing this exciting time in their lives is important, not only to the student, but also their families. At A Modern Focus, we provide the tradition of senior portraits in a fresh and contemporary way by giving the client freedom to choose what’s important to them. On location photo sessions open up countless possibilities for capturing one-of-a-kind images in locations special to the client. Our goal at A Modern Focus is to produce quality images for our clients while keeping the atmosphere of the session laid-back and fun.
Before Your Session
If you are interested in booking a senior session, contact us either by email or the contact form to request a session date. We will email you a link to a senior questionnaire/portrait agreement to fill out so we can get to know you a little better and what you are wanting out of your session. Once we receive your completed questionnaire/portrait agreement, we will put your session in our calendar and send you an invoice via email for your session fee. The session fee can be paid BEFORE your session by cash/money order, check, or debit/credit card (via PayPal). Session fees paid on the day of the shoot MUST be paid by cash/money order or check only.
During The Session
We will meet on your session date at your desired location and then we have fun! We like to keep the sessions pretty informal and laid back. A lot of people are not accustomed to having a camera pointed at them for more than a few minutes at a time, so making the atmosphere as comfortable for you as possible is one of our main goals. We want you to enjoy yourself and the experience. The number of locations we can visit and clothing changes will depend on which session you choose.
After the Session
Watch the blog over the next few days for your Sneak Peek, an advance look at photos from your session, to be posted. Approximately two weeks after the session, we will email you your on-line gallery login information. This gallery will allow you to view your proofs and order prints and/or products. The session gallery will be active for 30 days. If you would prefer to meet in person to go over your print order, just email us to set up an appointment.
The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer(s) during the session, post-processing of each image; including but not limited to, color correction, image retouching, gallery creation, image upload and backup, and processing print orders.
**Note** All packages include free basic retouching, an online gallery for proofing/ordering, and a slide show of your session images.
The prices do not include WV sales tax. Prices are subject to change without notice, and due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final.
